A Shortcut to Mushrooms Socks

SEK 65.00

A shortcut to mushrooms socks are a creative collaboration with my friend Jule from Woollentwine Fiberstudio. This collab is based on her new sock yarn that is nylon free, 50% Jacob and 50% Cheviot fibers. It’s an amazing yarn to knit with and the end result are a very cosy pair of socks with an amazing aura.

Construction
This sock is knitted from the toe up. You knit an asymmetrical toe, so you will have one left and one right sock. The toe is worked in the same way on both socks and the heel determines whether it’s the right or left sock. The foot is knitted in plain stockinette stitch and the heel is a short row heel. The leg of the sock is worked in stranded colorwork with a maximum of two colors at once. When you’ve finished the sock you’ll embroider the dots of the mushrooms. The mushroom ornament is just a bonus, it has nothing to do with the sock :)
